  • The service fee for your company is calculated by how many active compensation accounts you have on Stebby. A compensation account which has been active in a calendar month and has had compensation loaded at least once in its history counts.

    The regular price for companies with 4 or more employees is €3/month + VAT per employee.

    For companies with 1-3 employees, a fixed rate of €10/month + VAT is applied.

  • There are two options to join your company group:

    1. If an employee already has an existing Stebby account they can easily send a request to join your group.

    2. Import employees to Stebby yourself. After the import, employees will receive an invitation via email.

  • Any unused compensation will remain on the employers account for future use and it will be used to load compensation accounts for the next period. So you can be sure that the funds invested for wellness will not be lost!

  • Yes, you can! You can set up your compensation plan with rules you prefer. Select your preferred categories, compensation amount and tax exemption rules to avoid any extra fees.

  • The Employee Sustainability Tax Exemption is a Latvian Corporate Income Tax (CIT) incentive that allows companies to spend up to 5% of the previous year’s gross salary (for which social security contributions were paid) for providing employee and team motivation or bonding activities without incurring CIT. These expenses must be accounted for separately from other business costs. It is important to note that the 5% cap includes both employee sustainability and representation expenses.

    The purpose of the exemption is to promote employee wellbeing, reduce turnover, and support business development through tax-efficient collective benefits.

  • All companies subject to Latvian Corporate Income Tax (CIT) can apply this exemption, regardless of their type, size or industry. The key requirement is that the expenses must be related to employee sustainability measures and must be accounted for separately from other business costs.

  • 1. Sports and active lifestyle activities, such as gym memberships, swimming pool access, group fitness classes (e.g. yoga, pilates, water aerobics), and outdoor sports like paintball or wakeboarding.
    2. Wellness and relaxation services, including massages, SPA treatments, and other services aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing.
    3. Health-related services, such as physiotherapy and consultations with health professionals.

    These services must be accessible to all employees and must not be personalized or traceable to individual usage. The goal of these measures must be to support collective wellbeing and team cohesion.
